Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2, 2026

1. Zero-Logs Commitment

Apex VPN is built on a foundation of absolute privacy. We maintain a strict Zero-Logs Policy, meaning we do not track, collect, or store any information about your online activity. This includes your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries. We do not store connection logs, meaning no logs of your IP address, your outgoing VPN IP address, connection timestamp, or session duration.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our service, we collect the minimum necessary data:

  • Account Information: Email address used solely for account management, password recovery, and service updates.
  • Billing Data: Payment information is processed by secure third-party processors. We do not store full credit card details on our servers.
  • Technical Diagnostics: Optional, anonymized crash reports to help our engineers improve network stability. No personally identifiable information is included.

3. Mobile App Data

Our Android application requests the following device permissions solely to deliver core VPN functionality:

  • VPN Permission (BIND_VPN_SERVICE): Required to establish the encrypted VPN tunnel on your device. This permission is used exclusively for routing traffic through our secure servers and for no other purpose.
  • Network State: Used to detect connectivity changes and automatically reconnect your session when needed.
  • Notifications: Used to display your active VPN connection status. No notification data is sent to our servers.

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, location data, or any data unrelated to operating the VPN service. No user data collected by the app is used for advertising or sold to third parties.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Our network architecture utilizes industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Our nodes are engineered to run entirely in RAM (Volatile Memory), ensuring that all data is purged instantly upon a node restart. This hardware-level security prevents data from ever being written to a physical disk.

5. Third-Party Requests

Since we do not store logs of user activity, we have no data to provide in response to legal requests or subpoenas. Apex VPN is incorporated in Switzerland, a jurisdiction with strong digital privacy protections. Switzerland's Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) governs our data handling practices.

6. Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. To request account deletion:

  • Log in to your account on our website or app and navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account, or
  • Email us at info@apexvpn.tech with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account email, subscription records, and any associated account data within 30 days. Since we maintain no activity logs, there is no browsing or connection history to delete.

7. Children's Privacy

Apex VPN is not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@apexvpn.tech and we will promptly delete such information.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our network architecture or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage users to review this page periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
